VisaFrost Opens A State-Of-The-Art IQF Pineapple Processing Facility In Costa Rica. Discover Superior Quality Frozen Pineapple Products For Global Markets 

VisaFrost, a VISA Group company specializing in IQF pineapple processing, is proud to announce the opening of its new state-of-the-art facility in Pital of San Carlos. Commencing operations in April, the plant currently employs 40 dedicated professionals. 

Spanning an impressive area of 51,667.2 square feet (4,800 square meters) the new VisaFrost facility boasts a remarkable production capacity of 3,000 kg/h and 27 containers per month. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the plant features automatic peeling and chunking machines, Individual Quick Freezing capabilities for pineapples, as well as a complete refrigeration system, case packing line, a quick filler, coder, metal detector, and palletizer. 

Operating under the Free Trade Zone regime, the plant is diligently working towards obtaining the necessary certifications to ensure the utmost product quality and safety standards.
